Choose a Top-Level Domain

You found a domain name that practically jumps off the page and sticks in people's minds. Now you have to pair it with an equally memorable top-level domain (TLD).

Everyone thinks of .com first. If your name is still available with a .com TLD, register it right away. This domain extension’s immense popularity makes it difficult to find common and relatively common names still available for registration. If you really want a different TLD, you might want to consider registering the .com version and pointing it to your other domain name, a technique likely to increase your traffic.

If your .com is gone, you have many other choices. Some may even be a better fit for your Web site. Click the links below to learn about your options.
